Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer  –  FM Service Provider  -  Commercial Building  –  Bank, London  -  £46,000 per annum 

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Bank, London.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a prestigious commercial building located in the heart of Central London.

The building covers a total of 250,000 sq ft, which is spread across 9 stories of luxury office space.

Major transportation hubs, such as Bank Station, Moorgate Station, and Liverpool Street Station, are all within a 10-minute walk from the commercial office.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G, NVQ or apprenticeship trained) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working alongside a team of 4 engineers, you will be required to carry out PPM & Reactive maintenance across the site.

Hours of work:

• Monday to Friday – 07:00 am to 16:00 pm / 09:00 am - 18:00 pm

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals and Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

• Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2 (Essential)
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
