Mechanical Supervisor – Leading M&E Service Provider – Ealing, West London – £51,000 One of the UK’s leading maintenance contractors is currently seeking a Mechanical Supervisor to join their long-standing contract based in Ealing, West London.This contract covers several facilities and buildings within the higher education sector across the West London region.
While the main base is in Ealing, additional sites include Brentford, Uxbridge, Oxford, and Reading, which will be visited on an ad-hoc basis via a pool car. The Mechanical Supervisor will oversee a team of eight engineers and will be responsible for all day-to-day mechanical maintenance activities, with a strong focus on planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
The successful candidate will also work closely with the on-site Electrical Supervisor to ensure smooth coordination of all M&E activities across the estate.Additional responsibilities include managing reactive mechanical maintenance, attending client meetings, compiling reports, supervising staff, and managing sub-contractors.This role is predominantly hands-off, with approximately 75% of the role being laptop-based, focused on supervision, planning, compliance, and reporting rather than tool-based duties.The position includes participation in a 1-in-9 call-out rota, and there is plenty of overtime available.Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00–17:00, with flexibility to adjust to 09:00–18:00 or 07:00–16:00 if required.
