Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Romford, East London  –  £44,000 per annum 

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in Romford, East London carrying out planned and reactive building maintenance within a large commercial building.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in mechanical building maintenance.

This position would be ideal for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression and looking for a role closer to home.

In return, the company are offering a competitive salary of £44,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems.
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
• General building fabric
• Escort specialist subcontractors

• Monday to Friday - 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• Basic Salary of £44,000
• On Call retainer of £1249.56
• Bonus' for any AP Duties completed £500 per duty
• Call out 1 in 6 on Call week Mon-Sun (rest day Thurs and Friday)
• 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Full company uniform

• Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds Level 2&3
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
