Air Conditioning Engineer

Air Conditioning Engineer - Edinburgh - Competitive salary plus 4 day working week!

CBW have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company.

You will be responsible for carrying out small install/reactive maintenance on commercial contracts across Glasgow and the central belt of Scotland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain, service and troubleshoot a variety of air conditioning systems, including split systems, VRV/VRF systems, and chillers.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning coils, replacing filters, moving parts, to prolong the lifespan of HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning units, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.
• Conduct inspections and assessments of HVAC systems to identify potential issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and contractors to coordinate complex repairs and system upgrades.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.

• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer or similar role within the facilities management industry
• F-Gas Cat 1 Regulations certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.

• 4 day working week (34 hours per week, salary based on 40 hours per week)
• On call 1-7 with £140 per week + OT door to door.
• OT at time & a half then double time.
• Weekend work is available for OT.
