Regional Project Manager - North East

Make a difference where it matters most

Are you an experienced project manager looking for a role with real purpose?

Join our Public Safety & Subsidence team and help protect communities across the North East.

You'll lead a varied portfolio of projects investigating and remediating mining-related hazards, working with contractors, consultants, local authorities and customers to deliver practical solutions that keep people safe.

This is a unique opportunity to combine project management, stakeholder engagement and technical problem solving in a role where you'll see the direct impact of your work.

What you'll be doing

  • Managing multiple projects from planning through to delivery.
  • Overseeing contractors, consultants and suppliers.
  • Building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Managing project budgets, risks and performance.
  • Supporting emergency responses to mining-related incidents when required.
  • Delivering projects that protect people, property and infrastructure.
About you

We're interested in hearing from candidates with project management experience gained in construction, civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, environmental services, surveying, geology or similar sectors.

You'll be confident managing projects, coordinating multiple stakeholders and making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Experience of NEC contracts, CDM regulations and project financial management would be advantageous, but we're equally interested in candidates with transferable project delivery experience.

Why join us?
  • Home-based role with regular site visits across the North East.
  • Work that directly benefits local communities.
  • Diverse and interesting project portfolio.
  • Opportunity to develop specialist expertise.
  • High levels of autonomy and responsibility.
  • Supportive and collaborative team environment.
We know great candidates don't always meet every requirement.

If you think you could bring value to the role, we'd love to hear from you.
