Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Reading, Berkshire - Up to £45,000 Per annum

An exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Reading, Berkshire.

My client is looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to be based on a commercial site located near Reading, Berkshire.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified/biased (C&G or NVQ) and have a good understanding of building services.

The ideal candidate for the role will be someone recently qualified and looking for a role that will further their knowledge and practical understanding.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, the Engineer will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following;

• Emergency Lighting 
• Fire Alarms
• Fault finding 
• Building Management Systems & Electrical Monitoring.
• HVAC Systems, Including Humidifiers.
• Air Handling, Air Conditioning & Chillers.
• Sound knowledge of VAV & FCU Systems.
• Domestic Water Services & Plumbing.
• Pumps, Motors & Variable Speed Drive.
• Gas Boilers.
• Hot Water Calorifiers
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Water Treatment
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems
• General building fabric

• Up to £45,000 per annum
• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• Days - 07:00 – 16:00 / 08:00 - 17:00 / 09:00 -18:00
• 23 Days Annual Leave
• Overtime available
• Call out 1 in 4 - £105 per week

• Electrical qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2& 3 
• You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Legionella Awareness – L8 ACOP
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Highly desirable (Not essential)
• Any further qualifications (i.e.
  
  Mechanical or Air Conditioning etc)
