Salary: £26,000 – £28,000 (based on training & progression milestones)

Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual at the beginning of their career to join as a Trainee Machinist.

This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills and build a trade in a highly sought-after area.

Full training will be provided both in-house and externally, with a clear progression pathway.

Training & Development:

• Training on a variety of woodworking machinery, with progression towards operating the Edgebander and CNC machines.
  
  
• External manufacturer-led training provided by Biesse.
  
  
• On-site training plus further certification at Biesse facilities (including a short stay away, fully funded by the company).
  
  

• Minimum 1 year woodworking experience (bench joining or carpentry).
  
  
• Strong willingness to learn and develop new technical skills.
  
  
• Commitment to progression and achieving certifications.
  
  

• Starting Salary: £26,000
  
  
• Increase to £27,000 upon certification on the Edgebander (approx.
  
  3–6 months).
  
  
• Increase to £28,000 upon certification on the CNC (approx.
  
  9–12 months).
  
  

• Structured training programme with industry-recognised certifications.
