An amazing opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor to work client side at a well known organisation in the City of London.

The role will be working as part of the busy in house team and will be responsible for 

The role will be working as part of their busy in-house team and will be responsible for identifying and delivering best practice, technical and operational solutions to site specific issues across the building.

The main duties of the role are as follows:

  • Managing a shift team of four multi skilled engineering technicians.
  • Scheduling and allocation of planned and reactive tasks across the shift team.
  • Act as primary engineering shift contact during each shift period.
  • Administrative tasks for each team member e.g.

    absence; rota; overtime etc.
  • Issue and closure of various work Permits etc as required.
  • Raising of work requests and/or authorisations for reactive types of works.
  • Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  • Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  • Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 16:00 and there are a host of excellent benefits on offer.

  Applicants for the role must be able to meet to meet the following criteria:
  • Electrically or Mechanically qualified Level 3 / HNC / HND (must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates)
  • Experience in a lead or supervisory role
  • Will need to pass security clearance
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of critical plant: Chillers, HVAC, UPS systems, Cooling Towers etc
  • Excellent communication and customer skills
  • Experience of working in a commercial maintenance environment
