HIU Engineer

HIU Engineer / Plumber - FM Service Provider - Mobile - High End Residential Properties - London - Up to £45,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in London.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Heat Interface Unit Engineer (HIU) to carry out planned and reactive maintenance to HIU units, across a number of residential properties in and around London.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record with HIU maintenance and a proven track record working in commercial or high end residential properties.

In return the company is offering a competitive salary paying up to £45,000 based on experience and a travel card.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Complete an annual service of all residential apartments/properties involving: PPM, Reactive and Servicing on the heat interface units (HIU)
• Maintaining thermal stores, unvented cylinders, Air heat pumps
• Replacing pumps in the plant rooms
• Remedial works on the HIU
• General plumbing bleeding radiators, cylinders,
• HIU Maintenance
• Changing and servicing of water temp sensors etc.
• Bleeding radiators
• Ensure all tasks are completed within the agreed timescales, managing the workload accordingly.
• Demonstrate the ability to manage conflicting priorities and prioritise business needs.
• Consistently communicate effectively, in an appropriate manner, whilst building and maintaining positive working relationships, both internally and externally.

• HIU Maintenance experience (Essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• Honest, reliable and hard working
• A positive attitude towards work and willingness to get tasks completed on time whilst managing conflicting deadlines
• Happy to work a on either a Mobile or Foot Mobile basis
• IMPORTANT - This role is focussed on HIU service/Maintenance only 

• City and Guilds Qualified (or equivalent) Plumber (Not Essential)
• Experience working in high end residential properties
• HIU - Courses
