We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our round-the-clock operation.

  ? What you’ll be doing
  • Routine PPM & reactive maintenance across mechanical systems

  • Maintaining pumps, motors, bearings, AHUs, FCUs

  • Basic plumbing repairs – replacing taps, valves, washers etc.

  • Basic electrical tasks – e.g.

    lamp replacements

  • Monitor and adjust BMS (Building Management Systems)

  • Water treatment tasks – temperature checks, flushing (no dosing)

  • Liaise with and escort sub-contractors

  • Complete accurate records and reports

  • Keep a close eye on plant performance and system reliability

  ? What we’re looking for
  • Level 2 & 3 Mechanical qualification (C&G / NVQ or equivalent)

  • Strong background in commercial building maintenance

  • Confident with both mechanical and basic electrical/fabric work

  • Good communicator with a professional, customer-friendly approach

  • Able to commute for a 07:00 AM shift start in Whitechapel
