Job Title: Forklift Operative (Counterbalance)
Location: Linford, Essex
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday
Salary: Competitive (based on experience)

Job Description: We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operative to join our team in Linford, Essex.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to support daily warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods around the site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Forklift Truck (FLT) to load, unload, and transport goods within the warehouse or distribution area.
  
  
• Ensure all stock is stored and handled safely and in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  
  
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse, ensuring that goods are properly stored and easily accessible.
  
  
• Carry out regular checks and maintenance of the forklift, reporting any issues or faults.
  
  
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements and inventory levels.
  
  
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required, including picking and packing.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
  
  

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (must have at least 1 year of FLT experience).
  
  
• MP Connect card preferred, as this is a requirement for access to the site.
  
  
• Previous experience in a warehouse or forklift operating role.
  
  
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow health and safety protocols.
  
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  
  
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to meeting deadlines.
  
  

• Full-time hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
