Job Title: Automatic Door Engineer
Location: Swanley (Mobile Role – Contracts around South East)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum + Van

Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Automatic Door Engineer to join our team.

The role is mobile, covering contracts across the South East, with a base in Swanley.

As an Automatic Door Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of both automatic and manual swing doors across a variety of client sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and service automatic and manual swing doors at client premises.
  
  
• Carry out repairs and fault diagnosis for automatic doors.
  
  
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and standards.
  
  
• Liaise with clients to provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
  
  
• Complete service reports and documentation for each job.
  
  
• Maintain a well-stocked van and ensure all equipment is in good working order.
  
  
• Manage your own schedule to ensure all appointments are met in a timely manner.
  
  

• Minimum 1 year of experience in installing and maintaining automatic and/or manual swing doors.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of automatic door systems and manual swing doors.
  
  
• Ability to diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and professionally.
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  
  
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
  
  
• Ability to work independently, managing your own schedule and workload.
  
  

• Must have a valid UK Driver’s License with no more than 6 penalty points.
  
  
• Experience working in the South East area is desirable.
  
  
• Willingness to travel to various sites within the South East region.
