Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Emergency Lighting & Electrical PPMs

? Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (Days Only, 7am–7pm)

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client-facing engineering team within a prestigious law firm in Moorgate.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional corporate environment, ensuring the smooth and safe operation of critical building systems on the tenant side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) and reactive maintenance on emergency lighting systems and other electrical services.
  
  
• Supporting wider electrical systems across the site, including small power, distribution boards, lighting controls, and general building services.
  
  
• Ensuring compliance with statutory testing and health & safety standards at all times.
  
  
• Providing a client-facing service with excellent communication and professionalism.
  
  
• Working closely with the facilities team to maintain building performance and safety.
  
  

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering / Building Services.
  
  
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential).
  
  
• Proven experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, ideally within a commercial or corporate environment.
  
  
• Strong knowledge of emergency lighting systems, electrical testing, and fault-finding.
  
  
• Excellent client-facing skills and the ability to work independently.
  
  

• £48,000 annual salary.
  
  
• 4 on / 4 off day shift pattern (no nights).
