Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical Engineer - Commercial Building - Basildon - Immediate start - On-going - £27 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Basildon.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to cover a commercial site.

He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00am to 16:00pm
  • £27 per hour via Umbrella
  • Contract type: On-going
 
Key duties & Responsibilities
  • Planned and reactive maintenance 
  • HVAC Systems  
  • Emergency lighting tests
  • Control Panels
  • Changing Ballast
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e.

    Hot & cold)
  • Maintain and update Log books
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
  • Pumps, motors 
 
Requirements
  • Mechanically qualified City & Guilds - Level 2 
  • Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled
  • Good communication skills
  • Client Facing
