Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Building - Law firm – Liverpool Street, London -  £35,000 per annum  

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider situated in Liverpool Street, London.

CBW is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer to be based in a commercial office space located in Liverpool Street, London, looking after a high end law firm.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting etc.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,000, overtime and further training.

 Working hours & package

• Up to £35,000
• Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 
• 25 days holiday + Bank holidays

• Emergency lighting tests & Fire alarm tests 
• Painting & Decorating
• Basic lighting
• Basic Carpentry and plumbing
• Fixing Furniture
• Hanging Pictures & Shelves
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties (Plumbing, Painting, Carpentry, Basic Electrical, etc)
• A desire to get into maintenance.
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
