Maintenance Supervisor

Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – City of London – £60,000 per annum

CBW is currently recruiting a Contract Supervisor to work on a prestigious contract in the City of London. In this role, you will oversee the delivery of high-standard building services within a commercial, occupied environment, ensuring both planned and reactive works are delivered efficiently and to the highest level of customer satisfaction.

This position offers clear progression, with the successful candidate expected to develop into a Contract Manager role in the future.

You will support the Contract Manager in the day-to-day running of the contract by managing a team of engineers, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring full compliance with statutory and health & safety requirements.

A key part of the role will involve reviewing and approving RAMS, issuing permits to work, managing compliance documentation, and ensuring all activities align with site procedures and safe systems of work. You will also be responsible for attending client meetings, producing reports, monitoring KPIs/SLAs, and maintaining strong working relationships with stakeholders.

Hours of Work

Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out daily checks, as well as planned and reactive maintenance of building services systems
• Issuing permits to work
• Producing weekly and monthly reports
• Attending client meetings
• Acting as first response to mechanical or electrical system faults across the site
• Overseeing HVAC, lighting, and general building services infrastructure
• Supporting wider facilities operations and escalating issues where required
• Coordinating with the mobile support team and specialist contractors
• Maintaining system logs, completing PPM tasks, and ensuring close-out of all work orders

• Electrically or mechanically qualified (C&G Level 2 & 3)
• Proactive, organised, and able to problem-solve effectively
• Comfortable working with automated systems and modern building technology
• Calm, professional, and confident when dealing with clients and end users
• Flexible and willing to support emergencies when required (rare and fully supported)
