An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Aldgate has arisen. 

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a static Electrical Engineer to be based in Aldgate, carrying out planned and reactive commercial building maintenance on a high-end residential portfolio.

The successful candidate will currently be an electrical or mechanical engineer and have a strong understanding of servicing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and general building service works at various commercial properties.

This position would be ideal for an Electrical Engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary in the region of up to £50,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting tests
• Control Panels
• Changing Ballast
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.
  
  Hot & cold)
• Maintain and update Log books
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets
• Pumps, motors
• Working on planned preventive and Reactive maintenance regimes
• Changing taps/washers 
• Managing priorities within contract constraints. 
• Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals. 
• Participation in standby rota for emergency calls outside normal working hours.
• Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

• Salary of £50,000
• Monday to Friday
• 8 am to 5 pm
• Over Time available

• Qualified to City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical discipline
• 17th/18th Edition
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
