Electrical Shift Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Liverpool Street, London – £55,800 per annum

Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a high-rise commercial building near Liverpool Street, London.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Shift Engineer to carry out maintenance across the landlord areas of the building, working as part of an on-site engineering team.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Hours of Work:

• Continental Shift Pattern
• 4 nights, 4 off, 3 days, 3 nights, 6 off, 4 days
• 07:00 am – 19:00 pm / 19:00 pm – 07:00 am

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance
• Electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
• Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
• Air conditioning maintenance, including AHUs and FCUs (filter changes and cleaning)
• Chiller resets and basic fault diagnosis
• Water treatment monitoring, including temperature checks (no dosing)
• Monitor and maintain mechanical plant, including pumps and motors
• Carry out basic plumbing works, including unblocking toilets
• Monitor and operate BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
• Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner
• Proactively identify and resolve faults across building services equipment
• Ensure all health & safety requirements are followed and escalated where necessary
• Maintain communication with client staff and report service-related issues
• Remain flexible to support site requirements within skill set
• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors

• Salary: £55,800 per annum

• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)
• Proven experience working in a large commercial building

• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
• Must be able to attend site for a 07:00 am start
