If so, we’re working with a leading contractor in Hertfordshire who is looking to add a talented Bid Writer to their growing team.

The Role As a Senior Bid Writer, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing new business opportunities across construction and social housing projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading the writing and development of bids, PQQs, and tender responses.
  
  
• Translating complex technical information into clear, persuasive content.
  
  
• Working closely with estimators, planners, and subject matter experts.
  
  
• Driving bid strategy to ensure submissions are high quality, compliant, and on time.
  
  
• Mentoring and supporting junior bid team members.
  
  

• Proven experience as a Bid Writer in the construction/social housing sector.
  
  
• A strong track record of winning bids.
  
  
• Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  
  
• The ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
  
  
• Strategic thinking with meticulous attention to detail.
  
  

• Salary up to £80,000, depending on experience.
