Water Treatment Engineer - FM Service Provider - Commercial Building – Canary Wharf, London  – £24 per hour

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM Service provider situated in Canary Wharf.

CBW are currently recruiting for a Water Treatment Engineer to be based in a commercial building in Canary Wharf.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in water treatment ideally with some plumbing experience.

Working hours

• 1 week early shift (6am - 3pm), 1 week late shift (3pm - 11pm) 
• 40 hours per week 
• £24 per hour 
• Weekly payment 
• Starting Immediately  

• Daily, weekly and monthly analytical testing of cooling towers and closed systems.
• Log Book Ownership
• Chilled Water systems
• Cooling tower maintenance
• Closed system experience
• Water flushing
• Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises
• Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing
• Surveys on hot and cold water systems
• Basic Plumbing
• Repairing pipework and leaks
• Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal
• Carry out general building maintenance
• Knowledge of the following; Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorination, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides

• City and Guilds in Plumbing
• City and Guilds in Water Treatment
• City and Guilds Legionella control within hot and cold water systems
• Experience working with cooling towers
• Demonstrate previous experience in water system remediation/maintenance works
• Demonstrate working knowledge of the respective legislation and guidance material
• Fully trained and knowledge
