Gas Engineer

Commercial Gas Engineer  - Glasgow - Salary up to £44,500 DOE - door to door travel paid

You will be responsible for carrying out gas PPM works, boiler installations, gas testing and reacting to breakdowns to a wide range of gas fired and heating appliances including boilers, burners, hot water systems and associated ancillary plant and equipment.

You will be working on great sites including hospitals, prisons, universities all extremely steady and long term contracts. 

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for delivering, services, repairs and maintenance throughout commercial properties.
• Reactive maintenance throughout clients portfolio of properties.
• Self delivery of smaller installations.
• Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems.
• Have the ability to diagnose and identify faults and failures within the equipment.
• Order and fit parts or components to the equipment when required.
• Reactive and planned commercial maintenance.
• Providing high level of customer service and building strong relationships.

• ACS Commercial Gas certified – COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, ICPN1 and TPCP1A as a minimum
• Strong technical skills and extensive commercial fault-finding experience
• Skilled in all aspects of commercial gas servicing and maintenance
• Customer-focussed with excellent communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on own initiative and within teams
• Full UK driving licence
• Requires Disclosure/Police checks

• Salary  circa 44.5K
• Door to door travel 
• 30 days holiday (including public holidays) 
• 39 hour week Monday - Thursday 08.00 -16.30 and Friday 08.00 - 15.30  (Overtime paid after)
