We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Complex Care Healthcare Assistants to join our team in Nottingham.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Complex Care Healthcare Assistant, you will provide specialized care to patients with complex medical needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

• PEG Feeding: Administering enteral nutrition via percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) tubes.
• Tracheostomy Care: Managing and caring for patients with tracheostomies, including cleaning and changing tracheostomy tubes.
• Wound Dressing: Performing wound assessments and applying appropriate dressings to promote healing.
• Medication Administration: Safely and accurately administering prescribed medications.
• Stoma Care: Providing care and support to patients with stomas, including cleaning and changing stoma bags.

• Proven experience in complex care, specifically with PEG feeding, tracheostomy care, wound dressing, medication administration, and stoma care.
• A caring and compassionate approach with a strong commitment to patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• A valid healthcare qualification and relevant certifications.
• A flexible approach to work, with the ability to cover various shifts as required.
