Mobile Fabric Engineer

Mobile Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Commercial Buildings – Hampshire – up to £35,650 per annum

Exciting opportunity to work for an established FM service provider on a mobile basis covering the SO, PO and SP.

You will be responsible for the fabric maintenance on a retail contract in the Hampshire area.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of most general fabric trades such as basic carpentry, plumbing and painting.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £35,650, overtime and further training.

• Monday to Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm

• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on site
• Escort sub-contractors
• To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.

• Must have some trade certificates (Plumbing, Carpentry, etc)
• Knowledge of commercial building maintenance
• An understanding of most building fabric duties
• Good communication skills
• Health & Safety experience
• Basic PC literacy, (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, smartphone use)
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service
• Self-motivation with the ability to manage tight time constraints and prioritise workload
