Mobile Commerical Gas Engineer

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer – FM Service Provider – Berkshire & Surrounding areas – £55,000 per annum + door to door travel

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer to carry out planned and reactive commercial maintenance across several contracts based in Berkshire and surrounding areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.



This position would be ideal for a Mobile Commercial gas engineer currently in a similar position who is keen on progression.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of £55,000 with a potential route into further career progression.

The successful candidate will be Gas Safe commercial gas qualified with COCN1 or CODNCO1 as a minimum.

Extensive experience in commercial building maintenance is essential.

The ideal candidate will have experience in boilers, burners and boosters.

Package

• Basic Salary of £55,000
• Monday – Friday 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
• Travel time: Door to Door
• 1 hour paid lunch break .
  
  overtime rate mon-fri 1.33x standard rate sat-sun 1.66x standard rate
• Personal use of van: use of van is permitted and charged at HMRC rate approx.
  
  0.15p per mile Trackers are fitted on all vehicles
• Holidays: 33 days – 25 standard with 8 stat days
• Pension: 5% from salary with a company contribution of 3%
• 4x death in service

• You will be responsible for delivering, services, repairs and maintenance throughout commercial properties. 
• Reactive maintenance throughout client portfolio of properties
• Self-delivery of smaller installations
• Cover a portfolio of contracted buildings repairing and maintaining various systems.
• Have the ability to diagnose and identify faults and failures within the equipment
• Order and fit parts or components to the equipment when required.
• Reactive and planned commercial maintenance.
• Providing high level of customer service and building strong relationship
• Provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators (KPI) / service level agreements (SLA) are met.
• Provide a multi-skilled maintenance service, which covers electrical, mechanical and building fabric disciplines.

• Commercial gas qualifications – COCN1 CORT1 CIGA1 TPCP1 &1A ICPN1
• Ability to service and fault find on commercial gas appliances using electrical testing equipment.
• Ability to use own initiative to problem solve in challenging situations.
• Industry standard completed apprenticeship.
• Full clean driving license
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible to support the role and all members of the team.
• Able to work alone under limited supervision.
• Able to operate handheld electronic device.
• Domestic gas qualifications – CENWAT, Gas boosters – BMP (Desirable)
• Forced draught burner experience.
