About The Role
Providing legal and risk advice in relation to the Authority’s property, procurement and commercial teams.
To ensure compliance with legal and  governance requirements both within the Mining Remediation Authority and the wider requirements of the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) in respect of the Inland Salinity Programme
 
Managing in conjunction with the Head of Legal and Records the Authority’s portfolio of legal matters.

This will involve managing the legal team and its workload, procuring and actively managing external solicitors, prioritising areas of law to support the property, procurement and commercial teams and to ensure the Authority’s regulatory and legal position are protected and its strategic ambitions are delivered

Role location: Hybrid working (on average 2 days working out of our Mansfield office)
