Assembly Operative

Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading manufacturing company, in their search for an Assembly Operative to work in their leading facility in Chester.

As an Assembly Operative, you will be responsible for assembling metal frames and boxes that surround electrical equipment, fitting steel cupboard-type boxes, doors, hinges, etc., bending metal, riveting, drilling, bolting, reading engineering drawings, and using hand and power tools.

• Pay: £12.50 per hour.
• Hours of Work: 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM, Monday - Thursday.
• Duration: Temporary to Permanent.
• Overtime Rules: Overtime paid at x1.3 ; bonus of £120 for completing all 39 hours.

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Experience in an assembly/production environment.
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
