Responsibilities, Operate CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications., Interpret technical drawings, including geometric tolerancing and set up and programme machines effectively., Monitor the production process, making adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards., Conduct inspections of finished products using basic maths skills to verify dimensions and tolerances., Collaborate with team members within the business for efficient material handling and storage., Assist in tooling setup, including the selection and installation of appropriate tools for specific tasks., Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Requirements, Proven experience as a CNC Turner or similar role within a manufacturing environment., Proficiency in using Siemens controls (DMG CLX LATHES), Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in CNC machinery is advantageous., Strong understanding of tooling requirements and machining processes., Basic maths skills are essential for measuring and verifying component specifications., Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated., A commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail is crucial., Ability to use live tooling., On-site assessment., Ability to MILL-TURN.
