Fabric Engineer – FM Service Provider - Government Building – Westminster – £34,000 + Package - No callout

An exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based in Westminster has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting a Fabric Engineer based in a government building in Westminster.

He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance across this static site. 

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance and have a proven track record in building maintenance.

Any experience working with fire doors or government environments is advantageous, but not required.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £34,000, overtime, further training and a potential route into further career progression.

• Monday- Friday 08:00-17:00
• No callout

• Basic Carpentry 
• Painting and plasterboard.
• Changing locks.
• Door hinges.
• Floor repairs.
• Minor repairs to office furniture
• Putting together small equipment/ Flat packs
• Kick and push plates.
• Install/ Repair blinds
• Basic Plumbing.
• Maintain and update Log books
• Assist the maintenance team on-site
• Escort subcontractors

• Trade qualifications in Carpentry Level 2 (Required)
• Experience with fire doors is advantageous
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled
• Good communication skills
