Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider - Pharmaceutical Environment – Oxford - £46K

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Oxford has arisen! CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting an static maintenance mechanical bias engineer to be based on large Pharmaceutical site near Oxford.

You will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team on site.  The successful candidate will have experience working within commercial settings with mechanical qualifications .  This is a Monday - Friday role working 8:00-17:00.

Package will include:



  • Salary up to £46,000
  • 25 + 8 days holiday

Key duties & Responsibilities



  • Carry out Mechanical works in a commercial setting, including general plumbing, boilers, heating systems, domestic hot and cold-water systems etc.
  • Ensure all PPM is carried out in accordance with the maintenance specification and documented in real time using the PDA with appropriate comments to evidence completion of work
  • Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator
  • Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices at all times
  • Take part in the on call rota

Requirements



  • Mechanically qualified to NVQ or equivalent
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled experience 
  • Able to complete DBS checks
  • Some Flexibility with working hours
