Multi-Skilled Engineer  - Commercial Building - Canary Wharf, London - Immediate start - £33 Per Hour

An exciting immediate opportunity to join an established building services company based in Canary Wharf, London.

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting a Multi-Skilled Engineer to cover a commercial site.

He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Hours of work

• 4 on 4 off continental shift - days / nights
• 08:00am to 20:00pm / 20:00pm to 08:00am
• Contract type: temp to perm
• £33 per via umbrella

• Building Management Systems (BMS)
• Control systems
• Air conditioning systems
• Chillers – wet and dry systems
• Pressure vessels
• Air Handling Units (AHUs)
• Heating systems
• Pumps
• Humidifiers
• Sprinkler systems
• Single-phase and three-phase motors
• Emergency lighting – recording of testing
• Fire and life safety systems – recording of testing
• Plumbing and sanitary ware
• Water treatment, including cooling towers and pool plant operation
• Maintenance and recording of all PPM tasks (statutory or otherwise) via paperwork and CAFM

• Electrically or mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or above
• 18th Edition desirable for electrically biased candidates
• Proven experience within commercial building maintenance
• Multi-skilled building services experience
• Strong electrical or mechanical maintenance
• Good communication and customer service skills
