Learning Disabilities Home Manager

An amazing new job opportunity has arisen for an experienced Registered Home Manager to manage a specialist service based in the Carr Gate, West Yorkshire area.

You will be working for one of UK's leading healthcare providers



This is a fantastic care home which offers residential support for males and females with a variety of needs, including individuals with a learning disability, autistic people, and those with complex needs



As the Home Manager your key responsibilities include:



  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance

  • Lead, support, and develop your team to deliver person-centred care

  • Support the assessment and implementation of individual care plans

  • Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for residents

  • Promote dignity, wellbeing, and independence in all aspects of care

  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes



The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:



  • Must have previous experience as a manager specialising in complex behaviours and learning disabilities

  • Open to older people experience if there is evidence experience with complex dementia

  • Enthusiastic, energetic and comfortable working in a fast pace environment

  • Able to show a can-do attitude at all times

*To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or be working towards it

The successful Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 - £55,000 per annum.

This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 40 hours a week on days with some occasional on calls.
