Shift Engineer – Client Direct – Commercial Campus – Barbican – £52,000 + Excellent Benefits

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Shift Engineer to work directly for the client across a large commercial campus in Barbican.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance.

This is a multi-skilled role covering planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical and electrical building services.

Hours of Work:

• 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off
• Days: 07:00 – 19:00
• Nights: 19:00 – 07:00

• Carry out planned and reactive M&E maintenance.
• Mechanical maintenance and fault finding across building services.
• Maintain AHUs and FCUs, including filters and general servicing.
• Carry out plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Complete water temperature checks.
• Lighting maintenance, fault finding and small electrical works.
• Carry out emergency lighting tests.
• Monitor plant and building services through the BMS.
• Respond to breakdowns and reactive maintenance issues.
• Escort and coordinate specialist subcontractors.
• Ensure site logbooks and maintenance records are kept up to date.
• Attend client meetings when required.

• £48,000 basic salary + £4,000 shift allowance (£52,000 total)

• City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical qualification
• Able to provide copies of trade certificates.
• Proven commercial building maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with good multi-skilled ability.
• Good fault-finding skills.
• Good communication skills and a professional approach.
