About the Opportunity
An award-winning international creative agency is seeking a Junior Key Art Designer to join its growing print studio in London.
Working with globally recognised film, television, and entertainment brands, you'll contribute to the visual identity of major marketing campaigns, producing compelling key art, promotional assets, and creative materials seen by audiences worldwide.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious designer with a passion for entertainment marketing to develop their skills alongside experienced creatives in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Role
Reporting to the Senior Art Director (Key Art), you'll support the creative team in developing and executing visually striking key art across a wide range of film and television campaigns.
You'll have the opportunity to contribute ideas, refine your craft, and work on high-profile projects from concept through to final production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creative team in developing high-quality conceptual key art for a variety of entertainment campaigns.
- Design and produce key art using typography, layout, colour grading, image compositing, and artwork production techniques.
- Create supporting creative assets, including title treatments, pitch decks, social media graphics, and rollout adaptations for outdoor and digital campaigns.
- Organise and prepare photography from production shoots, stock imagery, and reference materials for creative development.
- Assist with image retouching, photo compositing, and artwork production under the guidance of senior creatives.
- Prepare final artwork for both print and digital outputs, ensuring technical accuracy, correct colour profiles, and industry specifications.
- Interpret creative briefs and contribute innovative design solutions.
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, Producers, and the wider creative team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain organised project files and archive assets according to established studio standards.
- Ensure all final deliverables are accurately credited and meet quality expectations.
- Stay up to date with design trends, software, and creative techniques while continuously developing your skills.
We're looking for a creative individual with a genuine passion for film, television, and visual storytelling.
You'll ideally have:
- A strong portfolio showcasing key art, poster design, branding, or related creative work.
- A passion for film and television marketing with an excellent eye for composition and typography.
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- Knowledge of After Effects and Cinema 4D would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Good understanding of layout design, typography, image manipulation, and photo compositing.
- Evidence of conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving within your portfolio.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive, collaborative attitude with strong communication skills.
- An eagerness to learn, accept feedback, and continually improve your craft.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance.
- Enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and a willingness to contribute ideas for creative pitches and campaigns.
- Salary of £26,000–£36,000, depending on experience.
