Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Semi-Static – Enfield & Central London – Up to £45,000 + Package

CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading international FM service provider.

This is a semi-static role, based primarily at a commercial office building near Enfield Town, while also providing engineering support across a small number of sites in Central London.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and be looking to progress into a Lead Engineer position.

Alongside carrying out planned and reactive maintenance, you'll assist the Contract Manager with site compliance, audits, subcontractor management, and client liaison.

Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 – 17:00
  • No Call Out
  • Overtime Available

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance.
  • Fault finding, small installations, lighting repairs, lamp changes, and emergency lighting testing.
  • Fire alarm testing and basic compliance checks.
  • Maintaining AHUs, FCUs, and assisting with HVAC maintenance.
  • Monitoring BMS systems and carrying out water temperature checks.
  • Completing landlord building services maintenance.
  • Assisting with site audits, compliance records, and logbooks.
  • Coordinating and escorting specialist subcontractors.
  • Supporting the Contract Manager with paperwork and client meetings.
  • Providing engineering cover across additional London sites when required.

Package:
  • Salary up to £45,000
  • Monday to Friday working pattern

Requirements:
  • Level 2 or 3 Electrical Qualification (NVQ or City & Guilds)
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Proven commercial building maintenance experience
  • Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building services
  • Client-facing with strong communication skills
  • Reliable, organised, and looking to progress within Facilities Management
