Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Liverpool Street, London
Salary: £48,000 per annum + £100 Call Out Allowance
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00–16:00 and 10:00–19:00 (rotating shifts)
On-Call: 1 in 3 (with £100 allowance per call out)

The Role:
We are looking for a fully qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Liverpool Street.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on a wide range of mechanical systems, while supporting building services operations to ensure the site runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor mechanical plant
  
  
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  
  
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Units (Filter changes, cleaning)
  
  
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  
  
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
  
  
• Monitor the BMS systems.
  
  
• Basic electrical duties (Lamp changes etc)
  
  
• General building fabric
  
  
• Escort specialist subcontractors
  
  

• Fully qualified in mechanical engineering (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent).
  
  
• Experience in mechanical building services or facilities maintenance.
  
  
• Strong fault-finding skills and proactive problem solver.
  
  
• Able to work independently as well as in a small team.
