Night Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Building – Tottenham Court Road, London – Up to £50,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider based at a large commercial building near Tottenham Court Road, Central London.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Night Shift Engineer to work on a static commercial site, carrying out both planned preventative and reactive maintenance across all building services systems.

The successful candidate will be electrically or mechanically qualified with a strong background in commercial building maintenance and experience working within large commercial environments.

Hours of Work:

4 on 4 off – Night Shift

20:00 pm – 08:00 am

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across electrical, mechanical, and fabric systems
• Electrical maintenance including lighting repairs, lamping, ballast changes, Simtronic/Phillips lighting systems, and power distribution
• Emergency lighting testing and maintenance
• Electrical fault-finding and small installation works including sockets, lighting, and circuits
• Monitor and maintain mechanical plant including pumps, motors, seals, and bearings
• AHU & FCU maintenance including filter changes and cleaning
• Carry out water treatment tasks including hot & cold temperature checks
• Complete minor plumbing works including unblocking toilets, replacing taps, and washers
• Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors on site
• Maintain and update compliance records, reports, and site logbooks
• Diagnose faults across building services equipment and proactively resolve issues
• Ensure all KPI and SLA requirements are consistently met
• Maintain strong communication with both client staff and site management teams
• Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Remain flexible and assist with additional maintenance tasks within skill set when required

• Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum

• Electrical qualification – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3 with 18th Edition
  OR Mechanically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Experience working within large commercial buildings
• Multi-skilled across electrical, mechanical, and building services systems
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills
• Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
• Must be able to reliably travel to the site for night shift start times
