Consultant Radiation Oncologist

Where you’ll be working
You will join the Northern Cancer Service, a comprehensive network providing integrated oncology and haematology care to a population of 250,000.
Based at a premier clinic that serves as the state’s hub for brachytherapy, you will work within a highly skilled team of oncologists, physicists, and specialised nurses.
The service is currently in a phase of significant expansion, featuring modern facilities across two primary sites with five linear accelerators.
This is a progressive clinical environment that fosters a culture of collegiality and innovation, offering high levels of cooperation across specialties and a direct link to the University of Tasmania for research and undergraduate teaching.

Salary
Base salary ranges from $216,300 to $310,389 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
This comprehensive remuneration package includes a 35% allowance in lieu of private practice (subject to approval), an annual Continuing Professional Development allowance of $16,974, and either a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or an annual allowance of $28,786.
Relocation and accommodation assistance of up to $20,000 is available to support your move.
The estimated total package ranges from approximately $330,000 to $515,000+ per annum depending on seniority, clinical experience, and applicable award increments.
Requirements
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (FRANZCR) Faculty of Radiation Oncology, or equivalent
