Mobile Electrical Engineer – FM Service Provider – Commercial Office – M4 Corridor – Up to £43,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to join an established FM service provider operating across the M4 Corridor, covering sites including Thatcham, Oxford, Basingstoke, and Reading.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work across a portfolio of 6–7 commercial office sites, delivering both planned preventative and reactive maintenance.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified with a strong background in facilities maintenance and a proven track record in commercial building services.

This role is ideal for a multi-skilled engineer looking for stability, training, and long-term career progression.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £43,000, overtime opportunities, and further training with a clear route for progression.


Hours of Work:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 08:00 am – 17:00 pm
  • Call-out: TBC

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple commercial sites
  • Perform electrical maintenance including lighting installations, fault-finding, lamping, and ballast changes
  • Conduct emergency lighting testing and maintenance
  • Monitor and maintain control panels and BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
  • Carry out general M&E and fabric maintenance across sites
  • Maintain and update logbooks and ensure compliance documentation is completed
  • Perform basic plumbing tasks including unblocking toilets
  • Maintain pumps, motors, chillers, and pressurisation units
  • Proactively identify faults and carry out repairs in a timely manner
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations
  • Maintain strong communication with clients and site teams
  • Escort and manage specialist subcontractors on site

Package:
  • Salary: Up to £43,000 per annum

Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds Level 2 or 3
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (Essential) 
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Multi-skilled with a good understanding of building services
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Must be able to provide trade certificates
