Mobile Chiller Engineer – FM Service Provider – London & M25 – Up to £60,000 + Package

Exciting opportunity to join a leading Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company operating across London and the M25.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Mobile Chiller Engineer to cover a mixed portfolio of commercial sites, including offices, universities, and hospitals.

The successful candidate will be fully qualified in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (NVQ Level 2/3 / City & Guilds 2079) with a valid F-Gas Category 1 certification and a strong background in maintaining and repairing a wide range of commercial and industrial chiller systems.

This is a mobile role requiring a proactive and customer-focused engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities.

Hours of Work:

 - Monday to Friday

 - 08:00 am – 17:00 pm


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a range of chiller systems, including air-cooled, water-cooled, absorption, and adiabatic units
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults across compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and control systems
• Carry out F-Gas leak detection, recovery, and refrigerant charging in line with regulations
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and advise clients on upgrades and efficiency measures
• Complete service reports, timesheets, and documentation accurately using mobile devices
• Liaise directly with clients, providing clear updates and maintaining strong working relationships
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety procedures, including RAMS
• Participate in on-call rota (currently 1 in 14) for emergency breakdowns
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers when required

• Salary: Up to £60,000 per annum

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning / City & Guilds 2079 (Essential)
• F-Gas Category 1 certification (Essential)
• Proven experience working on commercial and industrial chiller systems
• Full UK Driving Licence (Essential)
• Strong understanding of refrigeration cycles, HVAC systems, and electrical controls
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and client-facing skills
