Part-Time Practice Bookkeeper

Part-Time Practice Bookkeeper | Aylesbury | 30 hours per week | Permanent Salary: up to 35k DOE  (Pro-Rata)

A growing bookkeeping firm in Aylesbury is looking for a part-time Practice Bookkeeper to support a varied portfolio of SME clients.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys tidy records, clear deadlines, and working across multiple businesses rather than being tied to just one.

The role You’ll support day-to-day bookkeeping and keep client records accurate and up to date.

Key duties include:

• Bookkeeping using cloud accounting software
• Bank reconciliations and maintaining clean ledgers
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns
• Handling client queries and chasing information when needed
• Supporting the team with ad-hoc bookkeeping/admin tasks during busy periods

• Practice-based or multi-client bookkeeping experience
• Comfortable using cloud accounting software and Excel
• VAT return experience
• Strong attention to detail and reliable deadline management
• Professional, clear communication with clients

• 30 hours per week (part-time, permanent)
