Electrical Maintenance Engineer – FM Service Provider – Foot Mobile (Zones 1 & 2, London Portfolio) – Up to £47,500 per annum

Exciting opportunity to work for a well-established, family-run FM service provider operating across Central London.

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to cover a portfolio of approximately 30 commercial buildings across Zones 1 & 2.

This is a foot mobile role, requiring travel between multiple sites, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.

The successful candidate will be electrically qualified (C&G / NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance, installation, and testing & inspection.

In return, the company is offering a competitive salary of up to £47,500, a Zones 1 & 2 travel card, excellent overtime opportunities, and clear progression routes, including support towards QS status.

Hours of Work:

Monday to Friday
08:00 am – 17:00 pm


Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across multiple sites
  • Emergency lighting and fire alarm maintenance
  • Complete electrical remedial works
  • Carry out small electrical installations
  • Maintain and service AHUs and FCUs (filter changes and cleaning)
  • Monitor BMS systems (hot & cold checks)
  • Ensure all logbooks and compliance records are kept up to date
  • Escort and supervise specialist subcontractors
  • Assist other engineers across the portfolio
  • Provide technical support when required
  • Predominantly electrical work with minimal plumbing and fabric duties

Package:
  • Salary: Up to £47,500 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Requirements:
  • Electrically qualified – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 & 3
  • 17th or 18th Edition
  • JIB Gold Card
  • 2391 Test & Inspection (desirable)
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • Strong understanding of building services
  • Multi-skilled with good communication and customer service skills
  • Must be comfortable working in a foot mobile role across multiple sites
  • Must be able to provide copies of trade certificates
