Multi Trade Plumber

Plumber / Multi-Trader – FM Service Provider – Social housing contract  – Brockley, South London – up to £38,000 per annum - No call out 

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently recruiting for a Plumber / Multi-Trader to be based on a local housing association social housing contract in Brockley, South London (SE4).

This is a full-time, permanent position, carrying out responsive repairs in occupied properties to a high standard.

This role is ideal for a plumber with a strong core trade background who is comfortable working in customers’ homes, managing their own workload, and undertaking minor multi-trade tasks alongside plumbing works.

• Carrying out responsive plumbing repairs within occupied social housing properties
  
   
  
  
• Undertaking general plumbing works including repairs, maintenance, and fault finding
  
   
  
  
• Completing multi-trade tasks where required, including:
  
   
  
  
  • Mould washing
    
     
    
    
  • Patch plastering repairs
    
     
    
    
  • Wall tiling
    
     
    
    
  • Light carpentry works
    
     
    
    
• Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with housing association requirements
  
   
  
  
• Using a PDA system to manage jobs, complete reports, and update job statuses
  
   
  
  
• Delivering excellent customer service while working in tenants’ homes
  
   
  
  
• Maintaining compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
  
  

• Strong core trade background in Plumbing
  
   
  
  
• Relevant plumbing qualification (preferred)
  
   
  
  
• Previous experience working in social housing (preferred)
  
   
  
   
  
  
• Multi-trade experience beneficial
  
   
  
  
• Comfortable working in occupied properties
  
   
  
  
• Experience using a PDA or handheld job management system (beneficial)
  
   
  
  
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
  
   
  
  
• Good communication and customer-facing skills
  
   
  
  
• Must be able to pass a Basic DBS check
  
   
  
  
• Full UK driving licence:
  
   
  
  
• No more than 6 points
  
   
  
  
• No driving bans in the last 5 years
