Electrical Maintennace Engineer

Electrical Shift Engineer – FM Service Provider – Healthcare – West London – £45,000 per annum!

CBW Staffing Solutions is currently seeking an Electrical Shift Engineer to join a renowned healthcare campus in West London.

This contemporary, state-of-the-art site features a range of specialist departments supported by advanced and cutting-edge equipment.

You will become part of a knowledgeable and experienced engineering team with a strong understanding of the site, providing the support needed to help you settle into the role quickly.

Hours of Work:

  • 4 on 4 off Days and Nights Shift Pattern 
  • 07:00 am -19:00 pm / 19:00 pm - 07:00 am
 

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Electrical maintenance, including lighting, fault-finding, small installations, lamping, ballast changes, control panels, and power distribution
  • Emergency lighting inspections and maintenance
  • Air Conditioning: AHUs and FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic maintenance)
  • Chiller resets and first-line troubleshooting
  • Water treatment monitoring (temperature checks)
  • Monitoring mechanical plant, pumps, motors, and plumbing (unblocking toilets, minor repairs)
  • BMS system monitoring (hot & cold checks)
  • Perform all allocated tasks professionally and within allocated timeframes
  • Proactively identify, report, and resolve faults with building services equipment
  • Maintain health & safety compliance, reporting/escalating issues where required
  • Maintain clear communication with client staff and site management regarding service issues
  • Escort specialist subcontractors when required
  • Be flexible with site attendance and tasks within competency
 

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Qualification (NVQ/C&G)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
  • Previous experience within a medical facility or critical-care environment preferred
