Rare opportunity to work with a small specialised palliative care team on the border of NSW/VIC.

The Job
Setting: 10-bed inpatient subacute and community palliative care service
Hours: 0830-1700 Monday to Wednesday, not required to work weekends.

On call as required.
Rate: TBD
Provisions: Travel costs may be negotiated.

Accommodation provided.

Use of fleet car after hours provided. 

Where you’ll be working
You will be working in a 30 bed publicly funded sub-acute facility located on the border of NSW/VIC.

You will join a highly-skilled team to provide admitting, consultative & diagnostic services for patients within the Palliative Care service.

The facility is located in the vibrant regional city of Albury, nestled on the banks of the mighty Murray River, offering an excellent mix of natural beauty, history, and modern amenities.

When you're not on shift, the Murray River is a hub for leisure, perfect for kayaking and walking along the scenic trails.

For panoramic views, hike up Monument Hill, or for a taste of the region, take a scenic drive to the nearby Rutherglen wine region for cellar door visits.

Explore local culture at the contemporary Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA), or relax at one of the city's great cafes.

Direct flights are available from Sydney or Melbourne in under 90 minutes.

Requirements  
Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM)
