The Job
Setting: Rural emergency department
Hours: Day Shifts from 0730 – 1800 or Afternoon Shifts 1200 – 2230 with on call 2230 - 0730    
Rate: Depends of seniority - contact recruiter 
Provisions: Travel provided either return flights or kilometric reimbursement.

Self contained accommodation provided.

Hire car allowance also available.

Where you’ll be working
You will be working in a modern health facility that opened in early 2025, offering 24/7 emergency services, an inpatient ward, medical imaging, and aged care services.

This small regional emergency department is busy and a fun working environment with interesting presentations.

Located in a small mining town in Central QLD,  you can explore the regions rich history and enjoy opportunities for fishing, bushwalking, and exploring the natural landscape during your time off.

Here you will find a solid range of recreational options to enjoy outside of work.

For dining, there is a bistro and modern Australian food served at the local Inn, as well as multiple casual cafes in town.

There is a local sports centre and a 24-hour gym.

Requirements   

• Current specialist or general registration with AHPRA. 
• FRACGP or FACRRM preferred.
  
  Career Medical Officers with extensive emergency medicine experience accepted.
• Access to Medicare Provider number is not required.
