A Fantastic opportunity to work for a leading FM Service Provider situated in Wandsworth.

CBW is currently looking for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to be based in a Healthcare Environment.

The successful candidate will be Mechanically biased (NVQ, C&G) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.

Working with the maintenance team on-site, He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance to the following :


Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the mechanical plant
  
  
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  
  
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
  
  
• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)
  
  
• General building fabric
  
  
• Escort specialist sub-contractors
  
  
• General building fabric
  
  
• Undertake repairs to HVAC Plant and Associated Systems to a high standard.
  
  
• Undertake installation, alteration and repairs to pipework systems as needed.
  
  
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
  
  
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
  
  
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
  
  
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
  
  
• Report service affecting issues to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
  
  
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
  
  
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
  
  

• Monday - Friday
• 10am - 7pm
• Starting ASAP
• £24p/h - ( paid via umbrella )
• Up to £39k

• Mechanically qualified - City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2&3
• Must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Good communication skills
• Client Facing
• Immediately available or able to start at short notice
