As an SDR, you'll be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping them understand how technology can solve their customs challenges.
This is a relationship-building role where your ability to listen, understand business needs, and communicate solutions clearly will drive success.
Working closely with marketing and the product team, you'll develop expertise in both consultative selling and the customs technology landscape.
Here's what you'll be doing:
- Research and identify prospective customers through HMRC data, market intelligence, and lead generation platforms
- Conduct outbound prospecting across phone, email, and LinkedIn to initiate conversations with decision-makers
- Qualify leads through structured discovery conversations, understanding their customs challenges and business objectives
- Articulate the platform value proposition clearly and book product demonstrations for senior colleagues
- Maintain accurate CRM records including contact details, conversation notes, and opportunity progression
- Collaborate with marketing to provide feedback on campaign effectiveness and lead quality
- Genuine interest in commercial roles with motivation to build a career in B2B technology sales
- Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging professionals at all levels
- Organised approach with ability to manage multiple conversations and follow-up activities
- Resilient mindset comfortable with outbound prospecting and activity-based targets
- Curiosity about international trade, customs processes, or supply chain operations is advantageous
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is beneficial but not essential
You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom.
