School Cleaner

School Cleaner – Elgin - £12.60 P/H

This role requires an up-to-date PVG certificate as you will be working within a school setting - you must be able to provide a copy of this.

There are multiple sets of hours available:

  • Monday - Friday 5am to 8am
  • Monday - Thursday 1pm to 7pm and on a Friday 10.30am to 5pm
  • Monday to Friday – 3.30pm to 7.30pm 
The successful candidate will be hired on a 12 week temporary basis leading to a permanent opportunity.

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking School Cleaner to join our team, ensuring a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for students and staff. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, and other communal areas
  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste correctly
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities
  • Ensuring all cleaning duties are completed to a high standard
  • Following health and safety guidelines, including COSHH regulations
  • Reporting any maintenance or cleaning supply needs to the supervisor
Requirements:
  • Valid PVG certificate 
  • Previous cleaning experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
  • Reliable and punctual
