Lead Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Oxford Circus – up to £53,000 per annum

An exciting opportunity to join an established International FM service provider based in Oxford Circus, London has arisen!

This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day electrical maintenance and operation of building services. As the sole engineer on site, you’ll take full ownership of planned and reactive electrical maintenance, while also overseeing the safe and efficient running of associated building systems.

We’re looking for an engineer with a strong electrical background and a proven track record in Facilities Maintenance.

The role would suit someone confident working independently and looking to further develop their career within a well-established FM provider.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Assist the Supervisor in with the "day to day" running of the contract
• Manage agreed KPI and SLA's alongside the Supervisor
• Arrange specialist sub-contractors
• Management of all reports/site log books (Working with the Contract Manager & Supervisor)
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date on each contract and ready for audits
• Attend client meetings if required
• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, etc)
• Emergency lighting & Fire alarm tests
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• BMS System - Monitor (i.e.
  
  Hot & Colds)
• Statutory Compliance
• Water Temperatures

• Monday to Friday (40 hour week)
• 08:00am to 17:00pm
• Overtime available
• 25 Days holiday + Bank Holidays
• Extra Day off for your Birthday

• Electrical Qualifications – Level 2/3 – NVQ or City & Guilds Equivalent
• 17th / 18th Edition
• Must be open to being on Call
• Multi-Skilled
• Client facing and presentable
• A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
• Hard working honest and reliable
• Familiar with E-Log books
