Fire Door Installer – East & North London Rate: £230–£250 per day

About the Role CBW Recruitment is currently seeking experienced Fire Door Installers to work on social housing and commercial contracts across East and North London.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-run business that has been established for over 25 years, specialising in fire door installations and passive fire safety solutions across both public and private sectors.

You’ll be responsible for the full installation of fire doors, including fire stopping, ensuring compliance with the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out full installation of fire doors, frames, and associated hardware
  
  
• Undertake fire stopping works as part of installations
  
  
• Ensure all works are compliant with current fire safety regulations
  
  
• Work on both social housing and commercial contracts
  
  
• Deliver high-quality workmanship with a strong focus on safety and accuracy
  
  
• Maintain clear documentation of works completed
  
  

• NVQ Level 2 or above in Carpentry (essential)
  
  
• BM TRADA or equivalent accreditation (preferred but not essential)
  
  
• Proven experience installing fire doors and carrying out fire stopping
  
  
• Strong understanding of fire safety compliance and building regulations
  
  
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
  
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  
  

• £230–£250 per day
